I’ve been a huge fan of Courtney for a while and managed to catch a few times over the years, but this was my first time seeing her with my camera, at one of her biggest UK shows ever. Shot for Gigwise, full review here.
This was a really fun shoot, working with up and comng West London rapper King Kane, and my 1st time filming with smoke grenades, which came out looking fantastic.
My 1st shoot for Gigwise, California punk band FIDLAR had been on my wishlist for a while, and they didn’t disappoint, kicking off moshpits and crowdsurfers from the 1st track, with a great light show as well – check out the Gigwise review with my pics here.
Here’s my latest video – for London based rockers Babyteeth. This was a pretty challenging shoot as we were filming a very cold warehouse during the snow a few months back – although at least we got to keep out clothes on unlike the star of the video, professional ballet dancer Nicol Edmonds.
A real pleasure to shoot, The Victories have such a great energy and sound I can’t wait to see where they go from here.
The first live session I’ve done in a while, this was a good shoot with upcoming North London band Hoofa. I’m planning on doing a lot more of these so watch this space.
My first music video for a while, this was a chance for me to try out some new editing techniques and work with a style of music I’ve not really worked with before.
Last Thursday, I was down at London’s recently refurbished The Borderline, shooting with Indoor Pets. As the last date on their tour, they were expecting a big turn out and brought me along to document it, as well as shoot more footage for future promotional use. The gig was fantastic, and with the help of some great lighting I was able to get some footage that really showcased what a great live act Indoor Pets are.
Check out my video of the night, and a few photos I grabbed as well, down below –
